Warranty

Aquatica Plumbing Group Inc., hereinafter referred to as “Aquatica”, provides the following residential guarantee for our products:

Aquatica Acrylic Soaking Bathtubs
(Manufactured after January 1, 2017)

Aquatica provides a limited 10-year guarantee for all acrylic bathtubs for use in the continental USA, Canada and European Union member countries to the original purchaser for personal or single family use. Guarantee coverage begins from the date of purchase regardless of the installation date. The non-pro-rated guarantee guarantees the tub shell structural integrity and warrants against cracking, blistering, and/or discoloring.

The following limitations apply:

• Waste-overflow fittings supplied with all our bathtubs are subject to the Aquatica 1-Year waste & overflow warranty.
• Removable front panels supplied with all acrylic corner bathtubs and freestanding bathtubs are subject to the Aquatica Five-Year front panel guarantee.

Aquatica White Solid Surface (AquateX™) Bathtubs
(Manufactured after January 1, 2017)

Aquatica provides a limited 25-year guarantee for all-white color AquateX™ bathtubs for use in the continental USA, Canada and European Union member countries to the original purchaser for personal or single family use. Guarantee coverage begins from the date of purchase regardless of the installation date. Aquatica warrants the AquateX™ bathtubs not to peel, crack, blister, or discolor for a period of 25 years from date of purchase.

The following limitations apply:

• The bathtubs must be water tested and installed per our installation instructions. Aquatica will not be responsible for the cost of removing or reinstalling the bathtubs, or costs associated with any adjacent materials.
• All Aquatica Solid Surface tubs to stand at room temperature for at least 24 hours before running any hot water in the tub.
• Aquatica does not warrant leaks associated with improper waste and overflow installation.
• Blemishes, air holes or casting marks on the underside of the bathtub are not considered defects and do not affect the performance or quality of the bathtub. Slight variations in the surface are indigenous to the natural stone appearance of the product and are not considered defects or flaws.
• Variations in the surface do not compromise the structural integrity of the product.
• Waste-overflow fittings supplied with all our bathtubs are subject to the Aquatica 1-Year waste & overflow warranty.

Aquatica Black and Other Non-White Solid Surface (AquateX™) Bathtubs
(Manufactured after January 1, 2017)

While the basic AquateX™ material is identical for every color, it is important to note that darker and more heavily pigmented colors will show dust, scratches, haziness, marks left by hard water, salts, chemicals, and other ordinary wear and tear considerably more noticeable than lighter textured colors.

Darker colors tend to require considerably more cleaning and maintenance effort than lighter colors. Over time, through care and use, your black AquateX™  bathtub will acquire a patina, changing the appearance of the finish. Surface scratching, signs of wear and tear is considerably more visible and harder to repair on black AquateX® bathtubs.

Aquatica provides a limited 25-year structural guarantee for all non-white AquateX™ bathtubs for use in the continental USA, Canada, and European Union member countries to the original purchaser for personal or single family use. Guarantee coverage begins from the date of purchase regardless of the installation date. Aquatica warrants the non-white AquateX™ bathtubs not to peel, crack, and blister for a period of 25 years from the date of purchase.

The following important limitations will apply:

• 3-Year surface finish guarantee. User inflected scratches and other use, tear and wear marks are not covered by the guarantee.
• Black AquateX™ bathtubs are NOT recommended for use with bath salts due to the risk of forming a visible salt residue on the black background. If you still decide to use bath salts, flush the bathtub promptly with plenty of soapy water immediately following the use.
• The bathtubs must be water tested and installed per our installation instructions. Aquatica will not be responsible for the cost of removing or reinstalling the bathtubs, or costs associated with any adjacent materials.
• Aquatica does not warrant leaks associated with improper waste and overflow installation.
• Blemishes, air holes or casting marks on the underside of the bathtub are not considered defects and do not affect the performance or quality of the bathtub. Variations in the surface color and finish are indigenous to the appearance of the product and are not considered defects or flaws.
• Variations in the surface do not compromise the structural integrity of the product.
• Waste-overflow fittings supplied with all our bathtubs are subject to the Aquatica Two-Year parts only guarantee.

Painted Bath Exterior 3-Year Paint Finish Guarantee
(Manufactured after January 1, 2017)

• The painted bath exterior is guaranteed for a period of 3 years.

Chemical Spillage

Accidental spills of strong chemicals (e.g. various industrial cleaners, grout hardener, paint stripper, brush cleaners, metal cleaners, oven cleaners, cleaners containing methylene chloride, acid drain cleaners, acetone based nail varnish removers etc.) should be flushed promptly with plenty of soapy water to avoid damaging the bath surface! For nail varnish spills, non-acetone based remover can be used and then flushed with water. Undetected or prolonged exposure to chemicals will likely damage the bathtub surface. In the case of exposure to chemicals as described above, the 25-year limited product warranty will be void and handled as a case of abuse.

Aquatica White Cast Stone (EcoMarmor™) Bathtubs
(Manufactured after January 1, 2017)

Aquatica provides a limited 25-year guarantee for all-white color EcoMarmor™ bathtubs for use in the continental USA, Canada and European Union member countries to the original purchaser for personal or single family use. Guarantee coverage begins from the date of purchase regardless of the installation date. Aquatica warrants the EcoMarmor™ bathtubs not to peel, crack, blister, or discolor for a period of 25 years from the date of purchase.

The following limitations apply:

• The bathtubs must be water tested and installed per our installation instructions. Aquatica will not be responsible for the cost of removing or reinstalling the bathtubs, or costs associated with any adjacent materials.
• Aquatica does not warrant leaks associated with improper waste and overflow installation.
• Blemishes, air holes or casting marks on the underside of the bathtub are not considered defects and do not affect the performance or quality of the bathtub.
• Variations in the surface do not compromise the structural integrity of the product.
• Waste-overflow fittings supplied with all our bathtubs are subject to the Aquatica 1-Year waste & overflow warranty.

Aquatica Bathtubs with Air-Massage or Whirlpool Systems

Two-Year (Parts Only) Guarantee: Components covered for parts only guarantee include, but are not limited to on/off controls, remote controls, transformer boxes, junction boxes, heaters, pumps, water level sensors, solenoid valves and LED lights. Aquatica warrants all other components not specified above for two years for parts only against defects in material or workmanship. Replacement parts shall assume the remaining guarantee period of the parts replaced. Aquatica cannot guarantee that parts currently in use will be available in the future. Changes in materials, parts or specifications are not valid reasons for product refusal or replacement under guarantee claims.

Waste & Overflow Fitting Warranty

Aquatica warrants all our waste & overflow fittings (purchased separately or supplied as part of our bathtub package) to be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from the initial date of purchase by the owner/ end-user, contractor or builder from Aquatica or from an authorized dealer.

The bathtub must be water tested for operation and leaks prior to the final enclosure of the unit. Failure to do so will void the guarantee. If a problem is discovered after the final installation, Aquatica will not be responsible for the cost of removing or reinstalling the tub, or for costs associated with any adjacent materials. Proper drain installation is the responsibility of the installer. Aquatica’s guarantee does not cover drain leakage.

Outdoor Shower Warranty

Aquatica warrants all of our Outdoor Showers (Gamma series) to be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and service for a period of five (5) years from the initial date of purchase by the owner/end-user, contractor or builder from Aquatica or from an authorized dealer

A separate two (2) year warranty applies to the Outdoor Shower cartridges. Aquatica’s guarantee does not cover damages to the Outdoor Showers & Cartridges due to improper winterization.

Guarantee Limitations: Your guarantee is void if the unit is not water tested for leaks and inspected prior to completing the installation. Our guarantee does not cover defects, damage, or failure caused by the installer, user, or another person. Chips, cracks, and scratches can be repaired by a qualified technician at the owner’s/user’s expense. We do not cover the following: careless handling; modification of any type for any reason; improper installation (see Installation Instructions); connections supplied by the installer; misuse; incorrect or improper maintenance; incorrect or inadequate water use; use of improper cleaners and/or chemicals; or extraordinary acts such as earthquakes, hurricanes, lightning, floods, hail, etc. While AquateX™ is remarkably stain resistant and easily cleanable, we cannot guarantee against staining from all possible substances and chemicals. Staining from food or beverages (such as red wine), medicinal products (such as mercurochrome), use of improper cleaning products (such as various industrial strength cleaning chemicals), make-up, bath salt deposits etc. is not covered under guarantee.

Extent of Guarantee: This guarantee extends only to the original consumer/purchaser of the Aquatica bathtubs product when purchased and originally installed within the boundaries of the continental USA*, Canada and European Union member countries. The guarantee terminates after transfer of ownership or if the tub is installed or relocated outside the boundaries of the continental USA*, Canada and European Union member countries by the original consumer/purchaser prior to the expiration of the guarantee period. Display floor models and overstock sale units are excluded from this guarantee. See commercial guarantee for commercial installation coverage (always limited to 1-year).

Disclaimers:

Aquatica is NOT liable for incidental or consequential damage, loss of time, inconvenience, incidental expenses, labor or material charges or any other costs related to the application of this guarantee. Never leave a filling or full bathtub unattended.

Aquatica is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages/losses from any cause such as water damage to carpeting, floors or ceilings. Optional equipment not manufactured by Aquatica or installed by Aquatica is not covered. Damages or defects that should be detected before installation are not covered. The limited guarantee does not include labor, transportation, or other costs incurred in the removal and/or reinstallation of the original unit or replacement unit. Costs related to obtaining access for repair are not covered.

The foregoing guarantee is EXCLUSIVE and in lieu of all other warranties, including any other guarantee of quality, express or implied, and including any guarantee of merchantability, or any guarantee of fitness for any particular purpose.
